How does the LX Vir50 aseptic flow lamp work?

Three types of modern aseptic technologies provide 24-hour protection against bacteria, fungi, mold, viruses, VOCs (including formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene, ammonia), and dust particles >PM2.5. A quiet fan is installed inside the lamp, gently circulating air in the room. A carbon filter combats significant levels of pollutants. The flowing air is then illuminated by a UV-A ultraviolet light-emitting diode. This light eliminates airborne microorganisms. Furthermore, the lamp's surface is coated with a nanocomposite of titanium dioxide and nanosilver. When exposed to light (both from the lamp and daylight), silver ions react with hydrogen sulfide ions in bacteria, inhibiting their growth. The generated peroxides decompose bacteria. The surface of the lamp material is charged with these charges, which are released into the room upon exposure to light. Their presence eliminates remaining microorganisms and unpleasant odors. The emitted ions damage bacterial membranes, causing repartition and destruction of microorganisms.

The convenience of using germicidal lamps and their safety

Very high effectiveness confirmed by laboratories: FDA, Poznań University of Life Sciences, Microbac, SGSOver 99% of microorganisms, dust, and VOCs are eliminated after just 10 hours of operation. After that, when turned on for at least an hour a day, it maintains sterile conditions in an area of approximately 20m² of room with low traffic. For rooms with high traffic, the lamp should operate for a correspondingly longer period.

For your convenience, the lamp is powered by two circuits. One circuit powers the LEDs, providing a pleasant light to the room, while the other circuit powers the fan and UV-A diode. This allows you to leave the air purification process running at night and use only the LED lighting during the day. This means that only 20% of lamp power is used at night.

The device will blend seamlessly into your interior design – it's practically invisible. In a suspended ceiling, it can be "recessed" as one of the 60x60 cm ceiling panels. For other ceiling types, you can purchase the LX Vir50 ceiling light with a dedicated housing for easy installation and an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

Application of the LED ceiling panel

Generally, the device is suitable for any location with a high turnover of people. Our lamps are ideal for locations with a higher risk of infection or where the highest air quality standards are required for other reasons. Importantly, the panel does not occupy the active space of the room, is unobtrusive, and its operation does not attract the attention of anyone in the room (very low noise level – a pleasant hum).
